Question about Lambda Prize adoption criteria for a solo developer

# Question about Lambda Prize adoption criteria for a solo developer

Hi.

I am considering LP-0021 and LP-0026.

LP-0021 is closer to my technical experience. LP-0026 is less familiar to me because it depends more on forum activity and user participation.

For LP-0021, I can build the main implementation in Rust. I can also provide bindings or SDK support for other languages when this is useful, as Rust ecosystem provides 1st class tooling for interacting with them (JavaScript, Python, C and many others), though my main experience is with Rust and TypeScript (not a main language by a mile, but I have a bit of experience with it). I would therefore keep the core implementation in Rust and use suitable language bindings or interfaces for other environments, though I can’t claim if bridges to other languages would be “sound” without a check by developers that specialize in them.

My main question is about the **adoption criteria** for a solo developer.

I understand the purpose of these criteria. A working implementation is more useful when independent users and developers test it and use it in real projects.

However, I do not understand how a solo participant is expected to build the first user and developer base.

For example, LP-0021 requires independent developers to ship applications that use the Wallet Provider SDK. It also requires on-chain testimonials and social testimonials.

If I start without an existing Logos audience, should I release the project early and ask the community to test and integrate it?

If I want to:

- Find developers who want to test or integrate a Lambda Prize project.

  • Find early users and testers.
  • Present an SDK or reference implementation to other builders.
  • Collect feedback while working toward the adoption criteria.

What can I do, when I do not have a following or an established role in the community (for which again, I understand the reasons)?

My main concern is the transition from: **“The implementation works”** to: **“There is enough genuine and independent usage to submit it”**.

What process do you recommend for a solo developer?

Thanks.

My 2c on this part is: yes

As more people share their projects, others in the ecosystem will try to integrate it for their applications. Even if they themselves are building POCs, it’s helpful to know someone was willing and then able to integrate it successfully.
