Building a decentralized, privacy-preserving marketplace for affordable modular housing - powered by Logos stack
The recent Talude evictions (60 families with nowhere to go) highlighted Portugal’s housing crisis, but this challenge exists globally. I’m developing NOVALAR - a decentralized housing infrastructure network that tokenizes modular homes to democratize homeownership.
The Vision:
- Fractional ownership starting at €100, making housing accessible to everyone
- Rapid deployment - modular homes assembled in 72 hours vs months for traditional construction
- Community governance through DAOs built on Logos stack (Nomos, Codex, Waku)
- True decentralization - no central authority controlling housing decisions
Why Logos Integration Matters: The housing crisis requires censorship-resistant coordination between communities, investors, architects, and manufacturers. Logos provides:
- Privacy by default for sensitive financial/personal data
- Decentralized governance for community housing decisions
- Borderless participation without geographic limitations
Current Status: Partnership with architect (NEW LIFE DESIGN) for modular housing designs
Connection to Logos Lisbon community
Two versions of project deck developed (Logos-focused + Solana version for grants)
Seeking technical collaborators and community feedback
What I’m Looking For:
- Technical feedback on Logos stack integration approach
- Developers interested in building DePIN housing protocols
- Community members who want to help solve the housing crisis
- Input on both project versions - which resonates more with the Logos vision?
Project Decks:
- [Logos-focused version] - Full decentralization approach
- [Solana version] - Pragmatic launch strategy for funding
This could be a powerful use case for the Logos ecosystem - demonstrating how decentralized coordination can solve real-world problems while building community wealth.
Questions for the community:
- How do you see housing DAOs fitting into the broader Logos vision?
- What technical challenges should I prioritize for Logos integration?
- Anyone interested in collaborating on this as a Logos-aligned project?
Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback!
