URL: Logos Circle Prague · Luma
Featured in the Dark Prague Conference schedule, newsletter and social media promo.

Attendee Highlights:

Registrations (incl. cancellations) (total count): 15
Attendees (in-person count): 25 (based on headcount)
About the attendees: A good mix of Logos core contributors, privacy advocates, speakers at Dark Prague, developers, cypherpunk and FOSS enthusiasts.

Merch included: Logos zine (during Dark Prague conf.); Farewell to Westphalia (treasure hunt); stickers.

Attendee Feedback: We had a full house in the workshop room, more people than chairs, so some made use of the couch and tables available in the back.

Highlights: We had 30min for ice-breaker session (intros of the entire circle) and 30min to cover through the Logos movement, vision, and next steps.

Our Ritual: Half the attendees expressed a desire to not appear in any photos, so we grouped people based on their privacy preferences (left side - no photos to be taken at all; right side - okay with having their photo taken).

Topics Covered:

An introduction to the Logos Circles - how Circles are organised, why we started this grassroots movement and what we aim to achieve with the movement as part of the bigger Logos vision.

Ensuring a decentralisation of Circles - we discussed how Circles can ensure there is no need for a centralised entity to “manage” the ongoing activities and co-existence of micro-communities. We covered the flow of feedback and communication between Circle Leads, as a continuous loop so that everyone is aware of what is happening in other Circles.

Will Logos have a [political] party - an example that was mentioned was the Icelandic Pirate Party (a 2012 political movement for direct democracy, internet freedom, transparency in governance). And if Logos is planning to have a political party.

Winnable Issue:
Our objective for Prague was finding a local Circle Lead, which we have achieved.
