Logos Circle Lisbon x Plural Event: Micro-Rewilding Across Lisbon

Winnable Issue proposal: Micro-Rewilding Across Lisbon

This is a proposal from the Logos Circle Lisbon to begin a micro-rewilding initiative across the city, starting with a pilot intervention in Graça.

We will begin by transforming a parking bay into a permeable planted esplanade, demonstrating how small-scale depaving can improve stormwater infiltration, restore micro-habitats, and create shared public space.

As part of the early activation phase, we will be distributing flyers next week to independent shops, businesses, and art studios in the area. The aim is to gather support, build local awareness, and invite aligned spaces and participants to take part in an upcoming Plural Event.

The Plural Event will serve as the collective starting point for this initiative, bringing together local contributors to explore, design, and prototype responses to urban coordination and environmental challenges.

We will use the following prompts to guide the discussion at the Plural Event:

  • Define one local issue where coordination or democratic processes are failing

  • Identify one tool, action, or process (existing or new) that could improve it

  • Explore where privacy and transparency matter in this context

  • Create a simple image, sketch, or prototype of a potential solution

  • Design a micro collective action that can be carried out within one week by at least three people

This initiative is part of a wider effort by the Logos Circle Lisbon to prototype community-led ecological and civic interventions across the city, starting small and building through local participation and iteration.
