I’m Shaqeal Alkebu-Lan, founder of Psyche & Matter LLC, a cognitive security and perception research company. We originally explored dual-use technology for aerospace and defense, but have now focused exclusively on civilian applications. My work centers on safeguarding human perception, cognition, and free will in an increasingly complex information environment.

My background blends ecology & evolutionary biology (B.S., California State University, Dominguez Hills) with independent research in depth psychology—particularly Jungian and archetypal studies—and applied investigations into the psychophysiology of perception and consciousness. This interdisciplinary lens allows me to explore problems from the micro-scale of raw sensory input to the macro-scale of societal narratives.

I’m here in the Logos community to exchange ideas, collaborate on prototypes, and refine the technical, philosophical, and governance frameworks for protecting perception—especially in decentralized, networked societies. My long-term aim is to help bridge the gap between science and the symbolic, ensuring our tools for truth-seeking remain human-centered and resilient.
