Love seeing this, Fiker :raising_hands: The Zanzibar Circle has real energy!

One idea to build on this… you could run a community cleanup as part of the winnable issue, ideally a beach or coastal one given the marine pollution focus. It turns the awareness into visible action, which is exactly the “how do we translate awareness into behavior change” question you raised in the report. It would also make powerful content for the radio spots and Instagram, seeing the message in action tends to pull in new collaborators and supporters. Even a small one, filmed and shared, could go a long way :raising_hands:

I never thought plastic waste was a general issue, I and my team in our MSc are currently working on a plastic biodegradable bacteria that can breakdown plastics here in Nigeria.

Plastic pollution is a big deal
