Discussed Issues

Logos Circle Ruse Website

Showcased the circle’s website and the overall idea of providing transparent progress on our winnable issues. Current website pages:

  • Home - Has iconic landmarks of Ruse with Logos-style quotes and an introduction to Logos Circle Ruse.
  • About us - Introduction to Logos, steward introductions, and global circle metrics automatically fetched via a public BI REST API.
  • Events - Links to previous event forums, integration with the latest Luma events, and work-in-progress summaries of past gatherings.
  • Projects (Winnable Issues) - Public tracking for locals to follow the journey, featuring project descriptions, task categories, and completion percentages pulled straight from active GitHub issues.

Project Onboarding

We brought new joiners up to speed on the current progress of our initiatives:

  • Website development
  • GitHub Actions workflows that automated the fetching of Logos Circle Ruse data to the site
  • The broader work of Logos Circle Ruse
  • Transparent Ruse, including completed work and the remaining development roadmap

Additional Updates

Behind-the-scenes administrative work that was completed:

  • Circle Stewards participated in Ruse AI Hack as a mentors. We also recruited 7 new new members to the circle.
  • Met with the University of Ruse’s Student Union to introduce Logos and the work of our circle. Following the meeting, the Student Union requested a digital poster that they could share with students to promote our upcoming event.
  • Started working on a project management repository and data extraction scripts that are linked to our website. When we have a stable version of the repositories, they can be reused by other circles. Repositories should be easy to set up even for non-technical stewards.
