The event saw strong participation from returning technical community members, along with several new attendees who came specifically to learn more about Logos technology and how to run a node. We also welcomed a few returning non-technical activist members from the Circle.
Node Workshop
In the end, all workshop participants did not bring Raspberry Pis. This sparked a discussion about the increasing cost of Raspberry Pi 5 devices, which are now around €200. As a result, attendees set up or prepared themselves to set up their nodes on laptops instead.
One participant successfully completed node setup during the Circle. The session was recorded to help other members who wished to complete the setup process at home afterwards.
We also gave away two custom Logos-branded Raspberry Pi cases to community members who had previously ordered them online, so they could transfer their node installations to dedicated hardware after the event.
Winnable Issue Progress
Work continues on the Quinta do Mocho community garden initiative. We are currently developing a revised proposal to meet the necessary requirements before kicking off the project.
Unfortunately, the two agricultural experts involved in the initiative were unable to attend this Circle. The next step is to conduct a site visit in Mocho to gather precise measurements and document the required materials and plant selections. Once this information has been collected, we can move forward with fundraising efforts and project implementation.
