Logos Circle Lagos – July 2026

Date: July 25, 2026

Location: Lagos State, Nigeria

Registered on Luma: 40 Participants

Attended: 11

Languages: English

Circle Steward: Purity

Overview

The first Logos Circle Lagos brought together new faces: Founders, product & community managers, software engineers, partnerships & event strategists, and product sales consultants.

The session focused on identifying practical, community-led initiatives that can create meaningful impact while strengthening the local Logos ecosystem.

Key Outcomes

1. Venue Partnership Secured

A partnership was established with our host venue, allowing the Lagos Circle to use the space for future monthly meetups at a discounted community rate. This provides a sustainable and consistent venue for future gatherings.

2. Dedicated Lagos WhatsApp Community Created

To better support local collaboration, a new WhatsApp community was created exclusively for Logos Lagos Circle members. Previously, some members from Abuja, and other states shared the old group. The new community provides a dedicated space for Lagos-specific discussions, announcements, planning, and engagement. Here

Winnable Issues Identified

Following introductions and community discussions, members identified Four potential winnable issues. A final priority will be selected via votes on the WhatsApp group Here

A. Community Knowledge & Resource Bank

Members highlighted the lack of easily accessible information within the ecosystem as a key challenge.

The proposed solution is to build a community-driven knowledge repository that organizes useful information by industry and area of interest. Resources would include:

  • Grants and funding opportunities

  • Founder resources

  • Creator resources

  • Career opportunities

  • Web3 educational materials

  • Industry guides

  • Other practical resources relevant to builders, creators, and professionals

The goal is to create a central hub where community members can easily find reliable information and learning materials.

B. School Outreach & Career Readiness

The Circle also discussed the gap between academic learning and the realities of life and work after graduation.

The proposed initiative includes:

  • Hosting educational sessions in schools.

  • Introducing students to career opportunities beyond the classroom.

  • Building student communities connected to the Logos Network.

  • Giving students access to the community knowledge bank and continuous learning resources.

The objective is to better prepare students for life after school while exposing them to emerging opportunities across technology and Web3.

C. Lagos Community Cleanup

Inspired by discussions with Pascal from the Benin Logos Circle regarding the Clean Nigeria Roadshow, the nationwide cleanup campaign in partnership with Aquari, the Lagos Circle identified a location for a community cleanup and how we can contribute when needed.

6 members also volunteered to participate in the cleanup, demonstrating strong interest in community-driven environmental impact.

D. ADHD Awareness & Education

One of the new Circle members shared their personal experience living with ADHD and highlighted the lack of awareness and understanding surrounding the condition. The discussion revealed that many people may be living with ADHD without recognizing the signs, while those who have been diagnosed often face challenges accessing treatment due to the high cost of medication.

To contribute to addressing this gap, the Circle proposed launching a virtual ADHD awareness campaign. The initiative will be delivered in partnership with Chrome’s Network, a web3 media platform led by the Lagos Circle Steward. As part of the campaign, the Circle member will share their lived experience in a video interview, which will be professionally edited and published across digital platforms to educate the public, reduce stigma, and increase awareness about ADHD and the importance of seeking support.

The goal is to use storytelling and digital media to spark conversations, help people better understand ADHD, and connect more individuals with relevant information and resources.

Community Node Initiative

The Circle explored the possibility of running a local community node.

A community member volunteered to host the node using an existing solar-powered space due to electricity problems in Nigeria. The primary requirement identified is the need of a Wi-Fi setup, PC and UPS to support reliable operation.

Another community member ( a software engineer) also volunteered to provide technical support when implementation begins.

Community Programs Shared

Members were introduced to opportunities available within the Logos ecosystem, including:

  • The Logos Circles Short-Form Content Mini-Contest for Circle members.

  • Information about Circle participation certificates and how members can qualify to receive them.

This ensured attendees were aware of additional opportunities for engagement and contribution within the broader Logos Network.

Volunteer Engagement

Community members volunteered to support:

  • Clean Nigeria Roadshow, the nationwide cleanup campaign in partnership with Aquari

  • Technical support for the community node initiative.

  • Future execution of the selected winnable issue.

Next Steps

  • Select one primary winnable issue for implementation by August while subtly working on the rest.

  • Begin collaborative planning for the Clean Nigeria Roadshow, the nationwide cleanup campaign in partnership with Aquari by doing a physical check of the selected cleanup location here in Lagos.

  • Start Design and structure the community knowledge and resource bank.

  • Initiate conversations with schools for educational outreach

  • Reach out to Logos core team to assess equipment requirements and timeline for the community node deployment.

  • Pick a date for the studio recording on the ADHD virtual Awareness program

Closing:

We wrapped up the Circle by sharing meals, coffee, and light snacks together. Members also spent time networking & playing board games, which helped everyone relax, connect, and build new friendships.
